TCL's net profit soars 573% in Q1

TCL Corp, China's leading television and mobile phone manufacturer, said its net profit hit 481 million yuan ($78 million) in the first quarter of 2013, up 573.37 percent year-on-year.
The company's revenue rose to 18.47 billion yuan in the first quarter this year, an increase of 27.31 percent year-on-year, according to the company's first quarterly report released on late Wednesday.
