China to resume treasury futures trading

BEIJING -- China will resume the trading of treasury bond futures from Sept 6 after such trading was suspended in 1995 following a series of irregular cases.
China Securities Regulatory Commission said on Friday that it has approved the trading of the new futures contracts, 5-year treasury bond futures, at China Financial Futures Exchange.
