CSR signs 1.7b yuan deal with Argentina

Chinese train manufacturer CSR said Monday that it has signed a 1.7-billion-yuan deal with Argentina to provide trains and freight wagons, cnstock.com reported.
The trains will be used for the reconstruction of Belgrano Railroad, a part of the South American country's big railway network reconstructing plan. The project needs more than 100 locomotives and 3,500 freight wagons. CSR will provide 80 locomotives and more than 2,000 freight trucks.
CSR, headquartered in Beijing, manufactures railway locomotives, passenger trains, freight wagons, bullet trains and subway cars. Its products have been exported to more than 80 countries and regions.
