Founded in 2001 in Wuxi city, Jiangsu province, Yadea Technology Group is a large-scale professional and modern manufacturing enterprise of electric-bikes, electric-scooters, electric-tricycles, and special vehicles.
With an annual sales of 3.2 million units for 7.2 billion yuan ($1.1 billion), the company has set up an R&D center and four production bases in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Tianjin and Guangdong provinces.
In 2014, Yadea's self-owned testing center won Laboratory Accreditation Certificate issued by China National Accreditation Service.
As of 2015, the company owned 1,700 distributors around the country and currently, the brand has been introduced and exported to 66 countries, including the United States, Germany and Italy.
With 124 independent national patents, the company jointly collaborates with Italian designer Stefano Giovannoni, German auto paint maker BASF and American electric motorcycles maker Lightning Motorcycle Corp to import mature and developed technologies to build the brand.
In the meantime, the company's products have been tested and reviewed by industry-recognized testing centers and are in compliance with latest European norms.
