Top 10 Chinese cities with biggest surge in home prices

Real estate market has rebounded in March after being in a slump for a year. The number of cities with average home price above 10,000 yuan rose to 26 from 20, according to Biaozhunpaiming, a consultancy company based in Beijing.
In Dongguan, a southern city in Guangdong province, average home price saw biggest surge among the 26 cities, with a 22.77 percent rise in the first quarter of 2016 compared to the same period last year. It is followed by Hefei, capital city of Anhui province, with a 22.24 percent increase, and Shanghai, with a 16.35 percent rise.
Here are the top 10 cities that recorded biggest rise in home prices in the first quarter of this year.
