China's postal sector expects $144 billion of revenue in 2020
BEIJING - China's postal sector will take over one trillion yuan ($144 billion) in revenue in 2020, the State Post Bureau said Thursday.
Hundreds of billions of customers are served each year by the world's largest delivery network, carrying more than 30 billion parcels already this year.
At least one million jobs will be created from 2016 to 2020 in the sector, covering the most remote parts of the country with quality postal services.
China's delivery heavyweights have been busy getting listed this year: ZTO Express in the United States and YTO Express in Shanghai.
