In the 21 years since China got access to the internet, the number of Chinese internet users reached 668 million, ranking the fi rst in the scale of Internet users worldwide by the time of July 2015. China has a total of 4.137 million websites and more than 22.3 million domain names. ".CN" ranks the second in the global top-level domain names, with its quantity over 12.25 million.
