BEIJING - Chinese actor Zhang Mo, son of noted movie star and director Zhang Guoli, was arrested Monday for taking marijuana, Beijing police said Tuesday night.
Zhang, 29, was arrested at around 10 pm Monday in a villa in Beijing's outer Shunyi district, near the Capital International Airport, a spokesman with the city's public security bureau said.

Zhang was with a friend surnamed Gong, he said.
The spokesman said police had raided the villa after receiving anonymous complaints.
Zhang tested positive for marijuana, he said.
The case is under investigation.
Zhang, born in 1982, followed his father to become an actor and has starred in many films and TV dramas since 1997.
Zhang Guoli, 57, has won many national awards and is widely known for playing Emperor Qian Long, one of the longest ruling emperors of China's Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) in a poplar TV series.
