Mainland, Taiwan negotiators to meet

BEIJING - Negotiators from the mainland's Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS) and Taiwan's Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF) will meet in Taiwan in the first half of the year, a spokeswoman for the State Council's Taiwan Affairs Office said Wednesday.
The exact date for the new round of talks will be decided by the ARATS and SEF, spokeswoman Fan Liqing said at a press conference.
