A new application for smartphones gives citizens in Beijing free access to useful traffic information was released on Thursday, Beijing Daily reported Friday.
The app, Palm Go, provides real-time information on about 200 bus lines and when buses pull up at stations, which can help passengers reduce waiting time and optimize their travel time.
The app also offers traffic information on 2,080 bus lines, 15 subway lines and more than 3,000 skywalks and underpasses.
The app can be downloaded at palmcity.cn.
