SCO FM meeting to be held in Beijing

BEIJING - Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi will host the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on May 11 in Beijing, Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Weimin announced on Friday.
Foreign Ministers of the SCO were invited to attend the meeting. Attendees will exchange views on the future development of SCO member countries and major regional and international issues, and do preparation work for the upcoming SCO summit in June, Liu said.
Founded in Shanghai in 2001, SCO comprises six member countries: China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
