5 cyclists killed in car crash in E China

JINAN - Five people were killed after a car ploughed into a group of riding cyclists in Yantai City in east China's Shandong Province on Friday.
The accident happened at about 2 pm when a white Lexus veered and crashed into a group of more than 20 cyclers outside Yantai University, according to witnesses.
The cyclists were attending a riding activity to mark the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival when the accident happened, witnesses said.
Local police have not published their investigations on the accident.
