More than 1,400 new police officials from across China are being trained in Beijing, China National Radio reported on Thursday.
The training, taking place at Chinese People's Public Security University from Tuesday to July 31, offers these new police officials courses on management and law enforcement, the report said.
Since 2009, more than 3,500 directors of county-level public security bureaus nationwide have received the training, the report said.
