XI'AN - One person was injured and five other people have been reported missing following a mini-bus accident in Northwest China's Shaanxi province on Sunday afternoon, local authorities said Monday.

The accident happened at about 3 pm in Xunyang county, when the mini-bus slid into a nearby river during a rainstorm, according to the local government.

Six people were on board the mini-bus at the time of the accident, and rescue work is ongoing.
