Left behind, children turn to nature

Qin Xiaohui enjoys icecream with his older brother in Balie village of Dahua Yao autonomous county, South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on July 5.

Qin's parents are migrant workers and they leave him and his older brother in the village with the children's grandparents for long periods of time while they go to work . After graduating from preschool on July 4, Qin started his summer vacation playing games with other kids in the village, helping his grandparents work on the farm and learning how to catch insects with his older brother. Qin enjoys spending his vacation getting close to nature, even though it is hard for him growing up without his parents around. [Photo/Xinhua]
