The delegates include Jiao Liuyang, a PLA swimmer and a women's 200-meter butterfly gold medalist at the ongoing London Olympic Games, according to Thursday's PLA Daily newspaper.
A total of 300 delegates to the upcoming CPC National Congress were elected by the PLA's four departments, as well as various arms and military commands, the Academy of Military Sciences, the National Defense University, the National University of Defense Technology, the general office of the Central Military Commission (CMC) and the armed police, at their own Party congresses, the PLA Daily said.

According to the list, there are 251 PLA delegates and 49 from the armed police, including CMC members and some outstanding soldiers and military officers, it said.
PLA and armed police delegates to the CPC National Congress are elected in line with the Party's constitution and the requirements of the CPC Central Committee, the paper said.
During the process of recommendation and formal election, the Party's principle of "democratic centralism" was adhered to and inner-Party democracy was promoted, the paper said, adding that the structure of the newly-elected delegates is in accordance with relevant requirements.
Confirmation from the delegates' credentials committee is required before the delegates can be qualified.
