6 killed, 29 injured in S China pileup

NANNING - Six people died and 29 others were injured in a five-vehicle pileup that occurred on an expressway in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region early Friday morning, local police said.
Around 3 am Friday, three passenger buses rear-ended a car and a trailer-truck on a section of the Nanning-Wuzhou Expressway in the city of Wuzhou, according to the city's public security bureau.
The injured were rushed to the county People's Hospital. None are in life-threatening condition, the hospital said.
Traffic on the expressway resumed at 7 am.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is under way.
