Li, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, met with Zhou Enyi, former head of the publicity department of a district of Panjin, a city in northeastern Liaoning Province, and thanked him for his long-term contributions to the Party and the people.
An outstanding representative of grassroots publicity officials, Zhou has exhibited core socialist values and always put solving people's difficulties as his top priority in his 43 years of service, said Li.
Li said that Zhou has consolidated the concept of "blood and flesh relations" between the Party and the people and deserves to be a national model.
He encouraged officials, especially grassroots publicity officials, to follow Zhou's spirit so as to better serve the people and be well prepared for the upcoming national Party congress.
