Yang Chuantang appointed minister of transport

BEIJING - China's top legislature on Friday appointed Yang Chuantang as minister of transport, replacing Li Shenglin.

The decision was made through a vote at a bimonthly session of the National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee that concluded on Friday.
