Scaffold collapse kills 2 in E China

FUZHOU - Two workers were killed Sunday morning after a scaffold at a construction site collapsed in Fuzhou in East China's Fujian province, according to local government.
Four workers were buried by the collapsing scaffold at the Silver Bay Construction site in Mawei district of Fuzhou city, said a spokesman of the city government.
Two of them were seriously injured and died in hospital. The other two were under medical treatment.
The scaffold collapsed at 7:24 am while workers were cleaning the walls of a building.
Police said they are investigating the cause of the accident.
