Six orphans received free surgeries on Thursday at the Fourth Military Medical University's Stomatology Hospital in Xi'an.
The surgeries were supported by the Tomorrow Plan, which was launched by the Ministry of Civil Affairs in May 2004.
The children, aged between 6 and 15 months, live in a welfare house in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region and suffered from cleft palates.
During the past years, the hospital has provided free rehabilitation surgery to about 5,000 children.
