China honors outstanding news reports, journalists

BEIJING - The All-China Journalists' Association (ACJA) on Wednesday honored several outstanding journalists and news reports.
A total of 291 news reports and commentaries from news organizations, including the People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, China Central Television(CCTV), Central People's Broadcasting Station and China Daily, received China Journalism Awards from the association.
Twenty journalists, including Gao Yujie from the Tibet Daily, Duan Gongwei from the Nanfang Daily and CCTV's Yang Hua won the 12th Changjiang Taofen Award.
The journalists strictly abided by professional ethics and shouldered social responsibilities in their work, according to a statement from ACJA.
The awards are China's top two journalism prizes.
