Tianquan county is still in need of 12,110 tents, 17,100 quilts and 200 generators for its more than 100,000 affected people three days after the 7.0-magnitude earthquake jolted Ya'an city, Southwest China's Sichuan, Beijing Times reported Tuesday.

Other relief materials requested by local officials include flashlights, tarpaulins, raincoats, rice, edible oil, and bottled water. A large number of temporary houses are needed for the transitional resettlement.

Tianquan county, with a population of 150,000, is 35 kilometers northwest of the epicenter.

Five people died, two are missing and 81 have been severely injured in the county, and more than 90 percent of its houses were severely damaged. Parts of the county still have no electricity.
