Police uncovered a big storehouse for thousands of counterfeit luxury bags in Yonganli subway station in Beijing on Monday, Beijing Youth Daily reported.
More than ten people, including the caretakers of the storehouse and those involved in selling the counterfeit bags had been under police scrutiny. The number of products in the storehouse is yet unknown.
The raid on the storehouse was jointly launched by Chaoyang Sub-Bureau of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau and Chaoyang Administration for Industry and Commerce.
The storehouse was hidden behind a door signed the “central control room of the metro”. Passengers had always believed the storehouse was a room for metro equipment.
