Special Love, a movie about the inspiring story of a boy with learning disabilities, is to tour Ya’an county in Sichuan province, hard-hit by Saturday’s magnitude-7.0 earthquake.
The movie, produced by the China Disabled Person’s Federation and Fujian Film Studio, depicts how a Chinese boy realizes his dream to take part in the Special Olympics.
Producers hope the film will help inspire residents in Ya’an to rebuild their homes after the quake.
Producers said the movie will also tour Wenchuan county, Sichuan, where more than 69,000 people were killed by the earthquake that struck in May 2008.
