A social organization, which aims to provide services for migrant workers from Hunan province, has been launched in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province.
It will provide services including employment, protection of rights, and public policy promotion for migrant workers, sources with the Guangdong human resources and social security authorities said.
The largest number of migrant workers in Guangdong come from Hunan, according to the authorities.
The Guangdong authorities have cooperated with counterparts from eight provinces to set up such organizations to supplement local government administrative services for migrant workers.
