The Fifth China (Beijing) International Exhibition and Symposium on Police Equipment and Anti-terrorism Technology and Equipment was held at the capital's Exhibition Center from Wednesday to Friday.
About 300 enterprises took part in the exhibition, which was sponsored by the China Association for Science and Technology and the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau.
The products on display included police vehicles, helicopters, watercraft, security checking and criminal detection equipment, communications, protection equipment, guns and office supplies.
These products represent global development and technological trends in this field, and the exhibition established an international science and technology exchange platform. Some technical seminars were also held by exhibitors, organizers said.
This year's exhibition is the largest in terms of scale, covering an area of about 30,000 square meters. Exhibitors came from countries including France, Germany, the Netherlands, Israel, the Czech Republic, Singapore, the United States and Japan.
The fourth CIPATE was held in the Beijing Exhibition Center in May 2011.
