A written notice should be sent to relatives of drug addicts within five days after they are sent to a rehabilitation center, according to a regulation to come into force on June 1.
The regulation requires authorities to verify an addict's identity and provide them with a medical examination before entering rehabilitation centers.
Drug addicts who are pregnant or have a baby less than a year old can be accepted into the rehabilitation center and female drug addicts should be managed by policewomen.
If addicts pass away while undergoing treatment in the centers then families must be informed immediately.
