BEIJING - Heavy rain is expected to continue in Southeast China from Wednesday till Friday, the National Meteorological Center said Wednesday.
The rain will hit parts of Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong and Hainan, with some of these areas expected to experience a precipitation of around 50 to 90 mm, according to an NMC forecast.
A strong convective weather with lightening and strong wind is also expected to hit some of these areas, the forecast said.
In view of the high frequency of strong convective weather in summer, the NMC reminded people to stay alert against its adverse effects and take necessary precautions.
