Shaanxi sewage supervision luanched

The provincial environment watchdog will supervise sewage treatment plants in Shaanxi, China Daily learned on Monday from the Provincial Environmental Protection Department.
A recent inspection found that 57 out of the province's 105 sewage treatment plants failed to meet standards and the polluted water was directly sent to rivers in some counties.
