Located near where Shanghai Disneyland is being built, the center has 450 beds and more than 100 intensive care units, and will provide state-of-the-art medical services.
The center will be managed by a private healthcare provider based in Singapore.
According to the report, the center will have single and double rooms, and each patient will be taken care of by two nurses.
Doctors from the School of Medicine of Shanghai Jiaotong Univerisity will work at the center, and it is also planning international recruitment.
