A kindergarten manager and her husband, a school bus driver, have been held by police in Dexing, Jiangxi province, on Thursday after a 5-year-old child died after being left alone for hours on the bus, Legal Daily reported.
The boy, Xu Yaxi, lived in a village in Dexing and regularly took the school bus to the kindergarten. The driver Yin Chunhua delivered children to the kindergarten on Monday morning but did not see that Xu was still on the bus.
The boy was found in the afternoon. Yin and kindergarten manager Shao Hongying rushed him to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
