Beijing No 2 People’s Procuratorate opened a micro blog account targeting drug abuse on Wednesday, International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
Prosecutors will highlight typical drug cases and verdicts on the platform and give an insight into their anti-drug work, according to a statement provided by the authority.
“We have a great deal of material concerning drug crime and we want to use weibo to help the public understand more about its dangers,” said Zhang Ting, a prosecutor with the authority.
