HARBIN - Three people have been missing since a flood shattered a bridge in Shangzhi City, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, on Friday night, local authorities said Saturday.
Around 11 p.m. Friday night, two taxis carrying four people fell into a river when flood waters destroyed the Mayihe Bridge in Shangzhi, according to the Shangzhi city government.
One person managed to swim ashore. Rescuers have been dispatched to search for the three missing people and recover the two taxis.
