A 22-year-old woman bicycled more than 1,200 kilometers from Xi'an, Shaanxi province, to her home in Jiangxi province.
It took her 16 days to complete the journey that stretched over five provinces, Xinhuanet reported on Thursday.
Liao Jingwen, who just graduated from Xi'an International Studies University, chose to ride home to bid farewell to her university life.
Her father followed by car but kept his distance and did not disturb her for 10 days, which moved her very much.
The journey, from Xi'an to Yichun, Jiangxi province, started on June 28 and ended on July 13.
