DALIAN - Rain-led fog has left about 10,000 flight passengers stranded in the northeastern Chinese city of Dalian on Friday, according to Dalian airport's operation center.
More than 70,000 people were expected to depart from or arrive at the airport on Friday with 467 flights on the airport's schedule, but as of 11 am, only two flights have left while 16 have arrived, the operation center said.
The local weather bureau has forecast that downpours will continue, which is likely to further reduce visibility.
