A platform developing ethnic language software was launched on Thursday in Hohhot, capital of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
The country's first Mongolian language software, which meets national standards, was released at the same time.
The platform, www.nationsoft.org, is developed by China Standard Software Co.
At the launch ceremony, the company donated 20,000 sets of the software, co-developed with the Computer Science School of the Inner Mongolia University, to the local government.
A training base was also established in Hohhot to help people better use Mongolian software.
The company has developed the ethnic language operating systems and office software products covering the Tibetan, Mongolian, and Uygur languages.
