Henan police hunt for suspect after 5 killed

Henan provincial public security department issued an emergency alert asking relevant departments to help track down a man suspected of killing five people and injuring another three in Zhumadian and Luohe on Thursday.

Police named Ding Jinhua, 38, as the prime suspect.

Police have set up roadblocks on major highways in the province.

Ding runs several furniture stalls in Zhumadian, police said.
