A young man damaged eight cars with a chair in a Shanghai neighborhood early Sunday morning in a violent outburst according to the Shanghai Morning Post.

The man, in his early 20s, broke into the neighborhood around 1:30 am and damaged the parked cars with a chair he found on the pavement. He damaged the cars, he said, to "vent my anger".

He was subdued by police officers who arrived quickly on the scene.
