Typhoon Trami makes landfall in E China

FUZHOU - Trami, the 12th typhoon to hit China this year, landed in East China's Fujian province at 2:40 am on Thursday, local meteorological authorities said.

Trami made landfall in the coastal areas of Fuqing city, packing winds of up to 126 km per hour at its eye. It brought gales and heavy rainfalls to different parts of the province.
