Boy has eyes gouged out in Shanxi province

A 6-year-old boy in Fenxi, Shanxi province, had his eyes gouged out on Aug 24, China Central Television reported on Tuesday.

The boy went out to play after dinner near his home on the evening of Aug 24 and was later found in a coma lying on the ground nearby at about 10 pm. His eyes were gouged out. Police are investigating the case and the boy is currently in the hospital in stable condition.
