The Xi'an Intermediate People's Court in Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi province, revealed it will not have a live micro blog of the trial of Yang Dacai on Friday.
The court said it does not have an official micro blog so would not post live updates on the case as the Jinan Intermediate People's Court did on Bo Xilai's case. It said, however, it will announce the results of the case to the public in the appropriate form according to law and regulations.
Yang Dacai, former director of the Shaanxi provincial work safety administration, faces charges of bribery and owning property from unidentified sources. He also owns a large number of luxury watches, earning him the nickname of "Brother Watch".
