Bat-wielding man damages police cars in Beijing

A man in Beijing was detained by police as he stopped and smashed three police cars with a baseball bat on a main road, the Beijing News reported on Tuesday.

The incident occurred on the city's north Fourth Ring Road.

Police said that the man had mental problems and the case is under investigation.
