Ex-official of Inner Mongolia under bribery probe

BEIJING - China's Supreme People's Procuratorate has decided to put Wang Suyi, former senior official of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, under investigation for alleged bribery.
The top procuratorate has imposed "coercive measures" on him in accordance with the law.
The investigation is under way, according to a statement released on Tuesday.
Wang was a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee of Inner Mongolia autonomous region and head of the United Front Work Department of the regional Party committee.
