BEIJING - Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang met with Angolan Foreign Minister Georges Rebelo Chikoti in Beijing on Monday, vowing to enrich the countries' bilateral strategic partnership.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of China-Angola ties, said Wang, noting that the Chinese government attaches great importance to relations with Angola.
He said China is willing to work with Angola to enhance political mutual trust, deepen pragmatic cooperation and strengthen coordination on international and regional affairs.
Chikoti praised the development of bilateral relations since the two sides forged diplomatic ties 30 years ago.
China has actively participated in Angola's post-war reconstruction process and Chinese enterprises have made important contributions to Angola's economic development and improvement of people's livelihoods, he said.
He said Angola expects further development of the bilateral strategic partnership.
