Contraceptive failure contributed to more than 60 percent of the babies born in the past year in Shanghai, a technology center promoting better quality pregnancy showed in survey results published on Thursday, the World Contraception Day, xinmin.com.cn reported.
The technology center of family planning and bearing and rearing better children under the Navy General Hospital found that only 72 couples of 200 interviewed in Shanghai planned their pregnancies.
