A man died after falling from a 29-story building in Beijing's Dongcheng district on Wednesday, Beijing News reported.

The incident happened at 4 pm on Wednesday in Dongfang Yinzuo in the district.

The man's body was found on a platform adjacent to the building's fifth floor.

According to a security guard, a glass window, meant to provide access for firefighters, had been broken.

The man was confirmed dead after an ambulance arrived in the afternoon.

Police have ruled out foul play.
