Chinese and Arabic national museum directors meet

The China-Arab Forum of National Museum Directors was held Tuesday at the National Museum of China and will run through Wednesday.
The forum was initiated by China's Ministry of Culture, hosted by the National Museum of China and co-organized by the China Arts and Entertainment Group.
The forum will discuss the current development, successful experiences and vision of cooperation between China and Arabic countries in the arts.
A delegation of 16 directors from 13 national museums from the League of Arab States has been in China since Monday under the invitation of China's Ministry of Culture. It will be touring China until Oct 24 .
The delegation will visit Quanzhou - the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road - and Xi'an - the starting point of the Silk Road - after attending the forum in Beijing.
