A primary school in Baoji, Shaanxi province, had its students wear summer clothes in cold weather outdoors while they performed for visiting school inspectors, Huashang Daily reported on Tuesday.
On the afternoon of Oct 28, when the temperature was about 16 C and the adults wore thick clothes, students of the city's Guozhen Primary School were performing in the open-air playground in summer clothes such as short-sleeved shirts and short skirts to welcome leaders from the local education authority.
A school vice-principal surnamed Zhang had told Huashang Daily that the school would pay attention to the weather and ask the students to wear thick clothes after the performance.
