The China final for the 30th Elite Model Look contest was held in Shenzhen on Tuesday.
Wearing outfits by Chinese and European fashion designers, 35 models competed for the final awards in the OCT Loft in Shenzhen.
Wang Wei won the first prize for male model while Zhao Wanqiu and Xu Naiqing won the top prizes for females. They will participate in the world final to be held at Shenzhen's Poly Theater on Nov 27.
The event was organized by Elite World, the world's leading model management agency. The jury includes fashion designers, stylists, models and photographers.
Six Chinese fashion brands and five Italian designers presented their works during the event.
As holder of the event, Dalang Fashion Valley in Longhua new district is also a training camp for models. The valley has become a major hub of the fashion industry in Shenzhen, with over 20 companies covering design, production and marketing.
As a development area in Bao'an district, Longhua new district has focused on high-end fashion brands, gold jewelry, watches and other fashion design industries, aiming to become a leader in creative fashion.
European designer Arthur Arbesser said: "Dalang Fashion Valley is a large area with diversified enterprises. I am deeply impressed. It is also ahead of the world by being committed to nurturing professional designers."
From Nov 17 to 23, some 70 super models from different countries and regions will take up a seven-day closed training session in the valley. During the week-long training, models will experience engraving art, golf and yoga courses, and Chinese culture.
